Library

Hundreds of roles, 30,000+ questions

We built skill libraries for the roles you actually hire - not generic 'problem solving' or 'communication.' Sales Executive gets objection-handling scenarios. Customer Support gets de-escalation roleplays. Backend Engineer gets system-design trade-offs. Use the packs as-is, remix them, or write your own.

  • Sales families: executive, BDR, AM, SDR, enterprise, inside, field
  • Support families: L1, L2, team lead, success, onboarding
  • Engineering families: backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, data, ML
  • Ops, finance, marketing, HR, design, and 20+ more role families

Formats

Nine ways to test, not just multiple choice

Multiple choice catches memorization. That is not what you want to hire for. We support 9 question formats including video pitch, audio roleplay, image analysis, audio analysis, and situational judgment - because what a candidate does under real conditions matters more than what they know in abstract.

  • Multiple choice + situational judgment for knowledge and decision-making
  • Video pitch for confidence and communication signal
  • Audio roleplay for sales and support behaviors
  • Image analysis and audio analysis for analytical reasoning
  • Written response for detailed explanations and case studies
  • File upload for portfolios, work samples, and certifications

AI grading

Open-ended answers, graded with reasoning

Video pitches and essay answers get AI-graded against your rubric. Every score comes with written reasoning, so hiring managers can sanity-check the AI. Grading is calibrated to your standards - not a generic benchmark - because "good Sales Executive" means something different at a SaaS company vs a NBFC.

  • Rubric-anchored scoring per criterion
  • Written reasoning pulled from actual answer content
  • Per-organization calibration as your team reviews
  • Always overridable, always logged

Micro-scoring

Per-skill breakdown, not just a total

Every question maps to a specific **specific skill** - objection handling, data interpretation, stakeholder communication, or whatever the role demands. The scorecard shows exactly where a candidate is strong and where they fall short. Hiring managers stop guessing "are they good at sales?" and start seeing "strong on discovery calls, weak on negotiation."

  • Each question tagged to one or more specific skills
  • Per-skill score with visual strength/weakness map
  • Compare candidates side-by-side on the skills that matter most
  • Role-pack specific skills are pre-mapped - no setup needed

Custom questions

Build your own in any format

The library covers most roles, but your org has its own quirks. HR teams can **write custom questions** in any of the 9 formats - video pitch, audio roleplay, situational judgment, image analysis, audio analysis, file upload, or classic MCQ. Tag each question by skill and difficulty, and it slots right into your assessment alongside library questions.

  • Author questions in all 9 formats from a single editor
  • Tag by specific skill and difficulty level (easy, medium, hard)
  • Mix custom and library questions in one assessment
  • Private to your org or shared to the public library

FAQ

Questions hiring teams ask about Skill Assessments

Can we add our own questions?
Yes. Write any question in any of the 9 formats. Tag by specific skill and difficulty. Questions can be private to your org or shared across the public library at your discretion.
How does AI grading work for video and audio answers?
The model transcribes, analyzes against your rubric criteria, and produces a score with written reasoning. Candidates never get graded on accent or speaking style - only on content alignment with your rubric.
Can we run timed assessments?
Yes. Per-question time limits or overall assessment time limits. The proctoring layer catches tab switches and copy-paste if timed honesty matters.
How long does an assessment take to build?
From a role pack: under 5 minutes (pick the role, confirm the rubric, add role-specific wrinkles). From scratch: 20-30 minutes for a first draft, usually less after the first one.
Can we weight certain skills more than others?
Yes. Each specific skill gets a weight in your rubric. If negotiation matters twice as much as product knowledge for a sales role, set the weight and the overall score reflects it. Weights are visible to reviewers so scoring is transparent.
How do candidates experience the assessment on mobile?
Fully mobile-friendly. Video pitch, audio roleplay, and all other formats work on phone browsers and WhatsApp. No app download needed. Most candidates complete on their phone during off-hours.
